Flooded Basement Wakefield, Ma

This flooded basement in Wakefield, MA was the result of a heavy rain storm in the area. The extent of the water damage was about 4 inches deep throughout the finished basement.  The water damage was the result of flooding rain the carpet could not be saved and had to be removed and discarded.  We discovered old tiles under the carpet.  Based on the age of the tile, we had to have the tile and mastic tested for asbestos.  The test results came back that there was asbestos present.  We contacted an asbestos abatement firm to remove and dispose of the contaminated materials. The after picture was taken three days after the incident. Our customer was expecting a much longer process and they were thrilled with the results.
